Joy of Love catch up....

WOW!  I didn't realize how far behind I was on this for my photos.  Lots of catching up to do...so here we go....they got a little out of order  so bare with me please

Day 3: Then and Now
Cole taking a look at his newborn pics.  Way too precious.

Day 4: Something they wear
These are the corrective shoes that Cole wears every night when he sleeps.  I love those chubby little piggies peaking out!

Day 5: Love to Hate
This is Mike's hat, keys, phone, wallet that he leaves on the middle of the counter every night!  I love him but hate when he goes this, it's right in the way of things.

Day 8: Gift of Love (a little out of numberic order here)
These rings were a gift of love to one another on our wedding day.  The rings set atop of my wedding dress.  Lots of love in those rings.

Day 6: Who they Love
Cole LOVES LOVES LOVES his Mickey Mouse toys.  He is always hugging and snuggling with them.  And when he sees him his face and eyes just light up.

Day 9: Hobbies/Passion
A new hobby of mine, sewing!  I just got this sewing machine from his grandma a week ago and it has been put to good use so far!  I'm loving it.

Day 10: A place where they are comforable
Ajax is comfortable in any place pretty much, however this is one of his favorite, his bed.  It's soft and is always fluffing it before snuggling in for a nap.  I love this pup!

Day 11: Dreams
Cole is dreaming of getting outside to splash around in his pool and play fetch with his puppy.  I think this is a dream for all of us right now!

Day 7 is missing because it's a Generation photo and I have not been able to capture one yet.  I will share when I do however!

Joy of Love

Today's assignment was to capture your loved one's "look".  I have two of them I am going to share.  I did one this morning and was going to use that, however I then captured the other one this afternoon and it's just too sweet not to share.

Joy of Love

So a friend of mine has done this before and she signed up again, and I decided to give it a try.  I take hundreds of pictures so why not have some fun with it!  To view the link and join in click here. 

Today was day 1 of 28.  Our assignment was to capture a loved one doing something they "DO".  So I captured our little one playing with his Mickey Mouse airplane.  Something he "does" pretty much every day.





Where oh where did it go??

Where oh where did that last 11 months go??  Our little boy is almost a year old already.  It hit me hard the other day.  Mike and I were heading over to his parents and we got into talking about Cole's birthday and what not, and then it hit me that on Saturday he is going to be 11 months already.  I realized that and BAM, there came the tears.  Never thought I would get emotional like that.  He's not a little baby anymore, he's getting to be such a big boy.  I am happy and I am sad all at once.

Happy because he has come a long way in this past year.  With his feet, the casts, surgery, and shoes, he has said his first words, learned to crawl and now turned his crawling into walking (and his walking into running I'm sure by his birthday!).  He has his first teeth, first smile, first boo boo, first snowmobile ride, first boat ride, and many many others!  I am very fortunate that I have been able to be home and witness all of those firsts.  I am truly blessed.
